Patricia Bardi has been working in the fields of complimentary health, body-oriented therapy and somatic movement therapy/education for over 30 years. She is a bodywork specialist, licensed natural health practitioner & registered somatic movement therapist and maintains a private practice working with infants, children and adults centered in Amsterdam.

She teaches her professional level training course Voice Movement Integration in Amsterdam and throughout Europe. She is a founding member and certified teacher/practitioner of Body-Mind Centering and has trained in Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation with the Upledger Institute (USA). Since 1985, she has studied with Ernest Keeling a cranial osteopath residing in London. She has a degree in psychology from the City University of New York and five years experience working in psychiatric facilities and therapeutic centers. For several years, she has worked in association with Rudolph Merkel, pediatrician at the School for Cranial Sacral Osteopathy in Zurich where she teaches a course in Organ Rebalancing.

ORGAN REBALANCING
Organ Rebalancing is a bodywork practice integrating the awareness and presence of the organs in a whole body movement experience. The practice guides the internal organs in regaining normal mobility and tone as it supports the vital balance of the skeletal and autonomic nervous systems.

This therapy has been effective in treating among other things pregnant women (pre & post natal), organ related disorders, recurring spinal problems, respiratory conditions and irritable bowel syndrome

CRANIOSACRAL MOVEMENT THERAPY
Craniosacral Movement Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive hands-on technique that helps detect and correct imbalances in the nervous system as it interacts with the neuromuscular, skeletal and organ systems. This therapeutic approach aids in alleviating the negative effects of stress and is effective in treating brain injury dysfunctions, migraines, chronic pain, lowered vitality, recurring injuries, chronic stress syndromes and repetitive stress syndromes.

DEVELOPMENTAL MOVEMENT THERAPY FOR INFANTS
Patricia specializes in using this educational and therapeutic approach with infants and children who are showing signs of delay in their physical, cognitive and neurological development. It has been highly effective in treating children who are experiencing developmental delays, brain injury and neurological dysfunction due to birth traumas, organ related distress syndromes and sensory-motor difficulties.
