Organ Rebalancing is a bodywork practice integrating the awareness and presence of the organs in a whole body movement experience. The practice guides the internal organs in regaining normal mobility and tone as it supports the vital balance of the skeletal and autonomic nervous systems. This workshop centers on physical training that develops an experiential understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the Organ System through touch, perception, movement and sound. The principles and practices introduced combine hands-on practice and physical repatterning skills with an active, expressive approach to movement and voice. Activities include:
Classes are taught in English for 6 days from 10:00 to 15:00. This workshop is of value to health professionals and to anyone with an interest in movement and the body. 6 day course: EUR 700* excluding housing * EUR 650 if you register for both courses
Voice Movement Integration is a practice combining voice with movement to stimulate and organize the body’s physical, perceptual and emotional awareness.
Classes are taught in English for 6 days from 10:00 to 15:00 There are informal opportunities to work, play and rehearse together in the studio. This workshop is of particular interest to actors, singers, dancers, public speakers and anyone interested in enhancing their use of voice and the body. 6 day course: EUR 500* excluding housing * EUR 450 if you register for both courses PATRICIA BARDI Patricia's uniqueness is in guiding people more deeply into their physicality and creating the space for emotional content to emerge organically and honestly. Bardi is the originator of Vocal Dance, a practice that frees the body to be fully alive in expression and movement. She has developed and taught Organ Rebalancing – a professional bodywork training program at several institutes including Rudolf Merkel, M.D.’s, School for Cranial Sacral Osteopathy in Zurich. Bardi most recently performed Tangle, a Vocal Dance and Music piece with Alex Maguire (UK), pianist and Coalescence, a Voice and Movement performance with Makoto Matsushima (JP), principal performer with an internationally acclaimed dance theater company from Tokyo. In 1987 she founded the annual Rocca Project in Tuscany, Italy. For 15 years, she has conducted her professional training program Vocal Dance and Voice Movement Integration centered in Amsterdam and recognized by ISMETA – International Somatic Movement Education & Therapy Association. Patricia Bardi is a voice/dance artist and bodywork specialist. She teaches and performs throughout Europe and the USA and maintains a private practice working with children and adults in Amsterdam. She is a founding member of the School for Body-Mind Centering (USA) and Chisenhale Dance Space, London and a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist with ISMETA – the International Somatic Movement &Therapy Association.

Roccatederighi is a medieval village set in rural Tuscany, an hour from Siena and near the sea. The timeless beauty of the area, rich in Etruscan & Renaissance art, creates an atmosphere that inspires creative exploration. The spacious, airy workshop studio is located in the heart of this lively and friendly village.
