MODULE 7: Understanding of the Eye and Ear in Perception

Monday 18 October ’21 till 15 September ’21 at 10 am CET

Perception creates the ability of the body, mind, and emotions to define, organize and integrate our inner and outer experiences that influence and guide our choices in expression.

Looking specifically at the sensory/cognitive function of the eye and the vestibular and auditory aspects of the ear as they guide inner balance, coordination, and orientation in space throughout the entire body.

Cultivating visual and auditory listening to observe the catalytic effect on our vocal and physical expression. Working on the overall fine-tuning of the breath and voice with active movement.

Overall program: Ten modules of five weekly 1.5 hour classes.
Each module focusing on a different body system.

Plus additional weekly small group tutorials to deepen understanding.

Subscribers unable to attend live class can access the uploaded version.

Active Breath is an innovative somatic practice focused on integrating our awareness of the intrinsic connection between body, mind, and emotions through our physical/sensory experience of our breath, voice, and movement.

It is a practical approach for cultivating and deepening your embodiment skills, building resilience, and developing conscious attention in your daily lived experience.

Benefits of Active Breath Somatic Practice

What People Are Saying:

“The active breath brings me more clarity of mind.  It shows me that for real transformation I can trust my body intelligence. I experience that the feeling and embodied state bring me more details and holistic information, it puts things together!”

Lien Bossuyt ~ early childhood educator

“I definitely notice a consistent buoyancy and vitality that comes from doing a session with you.  My voice feels effortless and the breath feels like it is organically integrated throughout my body, as opposed to the mechanical approach that often comes with formal vocal training.”

Julia Jamison ~ theater and voice professor

“I experience how the Active Breath connection with my voice and the knowledge of the function of the body systems influences my awareness and feeling of well-being. It becomes a process,  an alive, defined experience – this lets me feel more present, more resting, more “rich”.”

Annette Siepermann ~ somatic movement educator
