As a licensed holistic naturopathic practice, VMI Bodywork incorporates a profound knowledge and understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology with psychophysical conditions. As a Holistic Naturopathic Practitioner licensed by the BATC, I follow the five nature-oriented principles for the holistic integration of body, mind, and emotions.

CORRECT IMBALANCES. VMI Bodywork aims to reorganize the imbalances within the body by evaluating the functional relationship between the skeletal structure, neuromuscular system, organs, and hormones. This therapeutic approach is specific and precise using gentle, non-invasive manual techniques. It is effective in treating discomforts, stress, and pain-related injuries. Through dialogue with the client, the method addresses imbalances in body-mind-emotion connectivity.

REGAIN MOBILITY. The goal of the VMI Bodywork treatment is to regain ease of mobility and foster a new sense of vitality through the entire body. The normalization of restrictions in mobility in the body’s structure and harmonization with the nervous system and organs’ biological rhythms encourage the body to express its own capacities for self-healing and restore homeostatic inner balance.

Individual Sessions

We offer three types of bodywork and holistic naturopathic sessions:

VITAL MOVEMENT INTEGRATION BODYWORK

Connect body, mind, and emotions for a renewed sense of equilibrium.

A gentle, precise, hands-on bodywork practice that employs sensitive touch, guided movement, breath and sound. VMI Bodywork addresses imbalances in the nervous system as it interacts with the neuromuscular, skeletal, organ and endocrine systems. This approach connects body, mind and emotions, and brings a renewed sense of equilibrium and well-being through the entire body.

ORGAN REBALANCING

Get surprisingly deep results with this soft approach.

A light, rhythmical, sensitive technique that integrates awareness of the organs into a whole-body movement experience. The hands-on practice guides the internal organs in regaining normal mobility and tone, as it supports the vital balance of the skeletal structure and nervous system. It facilitates deeper, more balanced breathing and improves postural integration while reducing stress in the nervous system.

DEVELOPMENTAL MOVEMENT EDUCATION FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN

Help your child reach their fullest potential.

A program that combines light touch, movement and guided play to stimulate a child’s sensory-motor coordination. This helps the child develop their range of motion, balance and motor skills, and guides them naturally toward their fullest potential. Beneficial for babies and children experiencing developmental delay, sleep disturbance, digestive discomfort, and movement or neurological challenges.

Diagnosis & Treatment

What can I expect on my first visit?

During your first appointment, we will take your health history and discuss the most important aspects of your health that create discomfort in your daily life. We will also guide you through a physical experience including touch, breath and movement re-education.

How long will my first visit be? How about future visits?

A first visit lasts 90 minutes for a complete evaluation, agreement on a treatment plan, and starting treatment on the same day. Follow-up sessions are 60 minutes in duration.

I need sufficient time to ask questions and to understand your health status and goals. Time is also needed for guiding you to listen to your discomfort and manage your condition.

My approach focuses on safe, holistic treatment and proactive prevention. We help facilitate the body’s inherent ability to restore and maintain optimal health by using touch, breath, movement, and sound.

It is important to know that during your sessions you will be encouraged to be actively aware of your body’s inner balance and movements. Increasing your body awareness is essential for feeling good in your body and being free of pain and discomfort.

My ultimate goal is to identify and remove barriers to good health. Together with you, we create a well-connected internal and external healing environment.

What should I wear to my first visit?

It is best to bring light comfortable natural fiber clothing for your visits to allow light touch and ease of motion.
