Voice Movement Integration (VMI) integrates your awareness of the intrinsic connection between body, mind, and emotions through your physical/sensory experience of breath, voice, and movement.
The VMI Somatic Practice Certification Program is an in-depth training program that provides refined skills to become a registered somatic movement therapist/educator, natural health practitioner, and expressive arts practitioner.
VMI SOMATIC PRACTICE OFFERS
VMI Practice Program is a well-rounded, in-depth, holistic practice of the body providing a defined somatic approach to:
• Develop Active Breath integrating breathing with movement and sound to awaken sensation through the entire body.
• Follow guided movement sequences to influence and positively affect your postural tone, balance, and coordination and enhance sensory-motor perception.
• Connect breath, voice, and body through movement, rhythmical flow, and expressive vocal interaction.
• Practice partner work to learn the recuperative powers of touch and bodywork skills.
• Cultivate lively, full expression through voice & movement improvisation in solo, duet, and ensemble interaction.
• Acquire a richer, more attentive dialogue into your understanding and sense of self.
VMI can be applied to your creativity as well as working professionally with people individually and in larger educational groups.
